Advice searches
When a search returns no matching answer, the words searched may be stored so the advice library can be improved. Search records do not deliberately store your name, IP address or contact details. Automated checks reject apparent email addresses and telephone numbers. Do not enter names, addresses, contact details or other private information into the advice search.
Information submitted
A quotation enquiry may include your name, contact details, postcode, town, property type, roofing question, urgency, photographs and communications.
How it is used
Information is used to improve the advice library, assess and respond to enquiries, decide whether J&L Welch can offer a survey or quotation, prevent misuse, maintain records and meet legal obligations. It is not offered to a marketplace of roofing businesses.
Service providers
Essential hosting, storage and communication providers may process information on behalf of the operator. Information may also be shared where required by law or with professional advisers.
Retention and rights
Records are kept only as long as reasonably required for content improvement, enquiries, contracts, guarantees, fraud prevention and legal obligations. You may request access, correction or deletion where applicable, or object to certain processing.
